action
The undertakers from the family business company AT Shank & Son drive to a remote house where they pick up the body of an old woman. The father is grumpy prescribed his work, while the son would like to hear upbeat music, for example, while driving - the radio is currently running Happy Weekend by Ray Merrell , but the father turns off the music.
They both come to the villa and put the old woman in the coffin. They want to go back to town and to the cemetery. However, in an unfortunate chain reaction that began with the old lady falling over a picture of a cat, her car is crushed by a huge boulder. Both men now run back to the village with the coffin. Always careful to keep the coffin and corpse undamaged, numerous mishaps happen to them - the corpse falls out of the coffin several times - but in the end both end up in the cemetery. At the same moment they are killed by the boulder.
You get into a kind of in-between hell and drive with the now awakened old lady in the coffin on a huge, fiery-red stream towards a waterfall, but first the son begins to row against it. When the father also rowed, both came back on land. You climb a huge tower similar to Babel's and at some point come back to the cemetery with the coffin. Here they duly bury the old lady. The father falls gratefully on the son's neck. In the end, both jump enthusiastically into the excavated coffin pit.
