The Tiergarten Kleve is a zoo in Kleve ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It is home to about 300 animals with an emphasis on mostly old pet breeds , which increasingly from extinction are threatened. The Klever Tiergarten is a herdbook breeding company that works closely with the breeding associations. He also keeps Somali wild asses and small pandas as part of the European Endangered Species Program (EEP) . The sponsor is the Tiergarten Kleve e. V.

A special feature of the zoo is the night safari . Children can observe the behavior of the animals with flashlights in the early evening hours. The zoo also has a petting zoo .

The zoo is adjacent to the Neuer Tiergarten park and can already be clearly seen from the street at the column statue “ Neuer Eiserner Mann ”.
