Tierna Lillis Davidson (born September 19, 1998 in Menlo Park , California ) is an American national soccer player who has been under contract with NWSL participant Chicago Red Stars since the 2019 season .

Career

societies

Davidson played for Stanford University's team , the Stanford Cardinal , from 2016 to 2018 . In 2017 she led the Cardinals to the NCAA championship. Since the 2019 season, Davidson has been playing for the Chicago Red Stars , whom they voted first overall in the 2019 NWSL College Draft. With the Red Stars she finished the league round in second place. In the semi-finals of the final round, the Portland Thorns were defeated 1-0, but the final lost 4-0 to North Carolina Courage .

National team

In December 2015, at the age of 17, she won the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship with the U-20 team . She had her first appearance in the senior national team as a replacement for Becky Sauerbrunn, who was injured on the foot, on January 21, 2018 in a 5-1 win against Denmark .
