Timo Wangler (born February 7, 1974 ) is a former German ski jumper .

Career

The Breitnauer Wangler started in 1991 in the newly created Ski Jumping Continental Cup . At the Junior World Championships in Vuokatti in 1992 he was third on the normal hill with the team that also included Rico Meinel , Ronny Hornschuh and Sven Hannawald . On December 30, 1992 Wangler jumped for the first time in the ski jumping World Cup as part of the opening event for the Four Hills Tournament 1992/93 in Oberstdorf . On January 1, 1993 he was 14th in Garmisch-Partenkirchenwin his only two World Cup points. Wangler also took part in the Ski Flying World Cup that season and was placed 30th among the top 30 of the competition at the first competition in Kulm at the end of January 1993. At the end of the 1992/93 season he finished 54th in the overall World Cup ranking. After jumping in the Continental Cup without success, Wangler ended his active ski jumping career in the spring of 1994.
