Tom Forms is a 1944 American animated short film directed by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera .

action

Tom has by mail tangible book How to Catch a Mouse (dt. How can a mouse starts ) it sent, and now wants to know anlesen for capturing Jerry. Tom notices until late that Jerry sat down right in front of him at the beginning to read the book. A first attempt at catch is unsuccessful. More follow: Catching with a mousetrap fails, as does a snare and the hint that curious mice are easier to catch, Tom cannot adequately implement. Every time he ends up in the pit he wanted Jerry to dig.

That cornered mice don't fight, as claimed in the book, turns out to be false, and even tracking the mouse scientifically with a stethoscope is not a good idea, as Jerry promptly yells into the chestpiece. When Tom disguises himself as a large parcel, Jerry first inserts needles through the parcel to check and then saws it - Tom needs medical attention. Tom's last attempt is to seduce Jerry through a mouse woman. It can only be wound up and repeats the same sentence “Come up and see me sometime” over and over again, but enthuses the mouse man. When Tom finally wants to eat him, he eats the mechanical mouse lady instead and now keeps uttering the same sentence. Ignoring the book, Tom finally wants to blow up Jerry with an excess of pyrotechnics, but is killed himself and soars into the sky as a cat angel with a harp .
