Tony Aitken

Tony Aitken (born June 20, 1946 in Solihull , Warwickshire ) is a British actor .

Life

Aitken attended Belmont Abbey School and St. Mary's University College in London , where he trained as an acting teacher. In the early 1970s he had first guest roles in television series such as Das Haus am Eaton Place , Z Cars and the code name Seeney . In 1977 he starred in the six-part series London Belongs to Me and between 1979 and 1980 he starred in the sitcom End of Part One . In the same year he played a guest role as an English-speaking contract killer from Simmering in the Austrian crime series Kottan . He had a recurring role in the second season of Rowan Atkinson's Blackadder .

His feature film roles include small supporting roles in Terry Gilliam's Jabberwocky and in the eight-time Oscar- nominated drama What's Left of the Day . Aitken runs a recording studio in which he produces radio and television commercials .
