The Turn- u. Sportverein Opladen von 1882 eV is a sports club from Leverkusen . He comes from the former district town of Opladen , which has been a part of Leverkusen since 1972.

The association was founded in 1882. Gymnastics was offered as a sport, and from 1906 there was also a separate department for women. In 1913 a football department and in 1921 an athletics department were added. Handball was added in 1923, theater and singing in 1931, snow running and hiking in 1932, fencing in 1933, swimming in 1937 and basketball and volleyball in 1968.

Badminton, basketball, handball, athletics, running, rehab, swimming, gymnastics, dancing and volleyball are currently offered.

The most successful division of the club is handball. The first men's handball team played in the fourth-class North Rhine Regional League until the 2019/2020 season . At the end of the season, the club was promoted to the 3rd division .
