Udo Doensdorf

Udo Dönsdorf (born November 10, 1952 ) is a former German ice and roller skater .

Life

Udo Dönsdorf was German champion in ice dance. His partner was Christina Henke . In 1974 the couple became world champions in roller figure skating and in 1975 and 1976 German champions in ice dance . In 1972 and 1975 the couple became German champions, 1974 world champions, and 1973 and 1975 vice world champions in roll dancing . After the end of his amateur career , Udo Dönsdorf became a coach. In 1993 he became the sports coordinator and since 1999 sports director of the German Ice Skating Union eV (DEU). Dönsdorf lives today in Munich - Obermenzing .

In March 2009, Berlin ice dancer Sascha Rabe made allegations of sexual assault against Udo Dönsdorf. Dönsdorf remains in office as the sports director of the German Ice Skating Union. The lawsuit was dismissed in January 2011 in the first instance.
