A German crime film series with Senta Berger as Kriminaliratin Dr. Eva Maria Prohacek in the main role, which was broadcast alternately from 2002 to 2019 as a first broadcast in the Arte and ZDF programs.

The pilot film Verdecktes Spiel received the Adolf Grimme Prize in 2003 in the “Fiction & Entertainment” category. It went to the three main actors, the screenwriter Alexander Adolph and the director Friedemann Fromm .

Detective Dr. After almost 20 years at the Augsburg Police School, Eva Maria Prohacek is moving to the newly founded Department 411 for internal investigations in the Munich police station and is taking on its management. She receives support from Chief Inspector André Langner, who is anything but enthusiastic about his transfer to Department 411. The third member of the group is the head of the commissariat Dr. Claus Reiter.

Department 411 deals exclusively with official offenses .

DVD release

Episodes 1 to 5 have been available on DVD since February 11, 2011 and episodes 6 to 10 since May 11, 2011. Episodes 11 to 15 were released on December 6, 2011. The fourth DVD box (episodes 16 to 20) was released on February 11, 2014. On October 28, 2014, Unter Verdacht - Collector's Edition was released with episodes 1 to 20 (12 DVDs in a box). The fifth DVD box was released in 2016 with episodes 21 to 25.
