Uwe Müller (journalist)

Uwe Müller (* 1957 in Wiesbaden ) is a German economist and journalist.

Life

After graduating from high school, Müller studied sociology and economics at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . The graduate economist attended the Wiesbadener Kurier , the Frankfurter Neue Presse and the Frankfurter Rundschau . This was followed by an internship at the Düsseldorfer Verlagsgruppe Handelsblatt , where he worked from 1987 to 1989 as an editor and head of the media department for the newly founded magazine Copy. Before reunification, he went to Leipzig in 1990 as the East Germany correspondent for Die Welt . From 2002 he was a reporter for the newspaper group, five years later he switched to the investigative team founded at the time . Müller lives in Leipzig and Berlin.
