Vasco Creti

Vasco Creti (born December 7, 1894 in Florence , † October 16, 1945 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Creti, son of a family of artists and brother of the actress Amelia Chellini , began his stage career at the age of about 20 with the ensemble around Tina Di Lorenzo , to which he remained loyal for about nine years. Next stations brought him together with Emma Gramatica , Virgilio Talli and Ruggero Ruggeri . He made his debut as a film actor in 1913 with the Turin-based Savoia Film , with whom he realized numerous projects as a leading and supporting actor. He also appeared for other production companies such as Armenia , Rodolfi , Photodrama and Pittaluga in films such as La carezza del vampiro by Romolo Bacchini , L'onestà del peccato by Augusto Genina (both 1918), I due sergenti (1922) and La fuga di Socrate ( 1923, both by Guido Brignone ), Martiri d'Italia (1927, Domenico Gaido ), La compagnia dei matti (1928, Mario Almirante ) and Sole (1929, Alessandro Blasetti ). Following his stage career again from 1918, Creti was seen in numerous sound films from 1930 until his death in which he took on minor roles.

Creti was married to the actress Valeria Peretti .
