Vendetta is the second sampler from the music label ersguterjunge . It was published on December 1, 2006 as a standard and limited edition and contains contributions by the label boss Bushido and the artists Saad , Chakuza , Eko Fresh , D-Bo , Bizzy Montana , Nyze and DJ Stickle, who were then under contract with the label . In addition, the rapper Summer Cem , who was under contract with German Dream , is represented on the sampler. Due to copyright infringements complained about by the French band Dark Sanctuary , the sampler has not been allowed to be distributed by court ruling since 2010. A digital republication without the copyrighted titles took place in 2012.

The sampler was mostly produced by the producer duo Beatlefield , consisting of Chakuza and DJ Stickle. In addition, individual instrumentals come from Bizzy Montana, D-Bo, Decay and Bushido themselves.

Vendetta entered the German album charts at number 7 in the 51st calendar week of 2006 and was in the top 100 for 15 weeks.
The title song Vendetta was released as a single in advance, entered the German charts at number 32 and stayed in the top 100 for nine weeks. In Austria the song reached position 53 and left the charts after seven weeks.
Sales figures and award
The sales of the compilation amount to around 105,000 units.
For more than 100,000 copies sold, the sound carrier was awarded a gold record in Germany in 2007 .
Copyright Infringement
The French band Dark Sanctuary complained in 2008 that Bushido had used their songs in several cases both on his album Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück and on Vendetta . At the beginning of 2010 a court ruled that several albums, including Vendetta , had to be taken off the market.
