The Verler See is a lake created by sand mining southeast of the district of Sürenheide belonging to the city of Verl .

The Verler See is located in the Ems sand plain within the Westphalian Bay in the east of the Gütersloh district . The approximately 8.4 hectare large bodies of water is completely in the field of city Verl and introduces the northeastern lying Tellersee is the largest body of water in the urban area in the northwest, the Verler is the district. Sürenheide ; a newer settlement area also belonging to Sürenheide borders directly on the north bank.
