Vitorchiano is an Italian commune in the province of Viterbo in the Lazio region with 5294 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located 82 km north of Rome and 10 km northeast of Viterbo .

geography

Vitorchiano is located in the volcanic hill country of southern Tuscia between Lake Vico and the Tiber . The old town lies on a steeply sloping block of tuff. It is a member of the Comunità Montana dei Cimini and carries the Bandiera Arancione, a quality seal in the field of tourism and the environment of the TCI .
