Walter Gorini

Walter Gorini (born August 29, 1944 in Cotignola ) is a former Italian track cyclist and world champion in cycling.

Walter Gorini was a specialist for the short-term disciplines on the track, especially for the tandem race . In this discipline he was Italian champion in 1966 and 1968. At the UCI World Railroad Championships in Frankfurt am Main in 1966 , he finished third with Giordano Turrini , and two years later the tandem duo became world champions in Montevideo .

Also in 1968 Walter Gorini started with Luigi Borghetto on the tandem at the Olympic Games in Mexico City ; they finished fourth.
