Water-oil separation plant

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A water-oil separation system (abbr. SEPCON ) is a mobile system for separating water and oil or substances containing oil.

SEPCON systems are used, among others, by some fire brigades and by the oil damage specialist groups of the technical relief organization . The systems are mobile, i.e. loaded on vehicles, trailers or in swap containers. They are used when (for example, after a ship or traffic accident) fuel or other oils have leaked into the water. Since oil floats on water, the two layers can easily be separated.
