In the Suco Wenunuc there are the four Aldeias Manuleu , Rai-Mean , Saham (Sahan) and Wenunuc . Since the new demarcation has not yet been described in more detail, the following information relates to the Suco Wenunuc, which existed until 2017.

The Suco lies to the east of the Metinaro administrative office on the coast of the Wetar Strait , to the west lies the Suco Sabuli, to the southwest the Remexio administrative office ( municipality of Aileu ) with its Suco Liurai and to the east and southeast the Laclo administrative office ( municipality of Manatuto ) with its sucos Hohorai , Lacumesac and Uma Caduac . To the west of Sucos in the river flow Aiscahe rivers Bequiar , Dejo and more together. Before the 2015 territorial reform, Duyung (then still) had an area of 66.13 km². While Duyung ceded areas in the west to Sabuli, in the south it was extended to the area of the Beruhunatan River , which previously belonged to Hohorai, to the Lihobani . These two rivers are part of the Northern Laclós system . Duyung had an area of 72.03 km² until the separation of Mantelolão.

Roughly following the coastline, the northern coastal road leads through the Suco. It is one of the most important traffic routes in the country, which connects the state capital Dili with the east of the country. The Metinaro settlement center is located on it in the northwest, to which the towns of Duyung , Priramatan , Nelayan and Lebutun ( Lebutu ) belong in the Sucos area. The village of Manleu lies on the coastal road in the northeast, and Besahe in the southwest .

In the Metinaro settlement center there is a primary school and a pre-secondary school ( Escola Pre-Secondaria Metinaro ). There are other primary schools in Besahe and Manleu. To the west of Manleu is the National Heroes' Cemetery ( Jardim dos Heróis e martires da Pátria ).

The extreme east belongs to the Important Bird Area of Mount Curi in Suco Uma Caduac.
