Werner Andler
Werner Albert Andler (born March 14, 1945 in Unterjettingen ; † June 5, 2013 ) was a German pediatrician .
Life
Andler came to the Vestische Children's and Youth Clinic in Datteln in 1982 . After Heinrich Rodeck retired , he became medical director of the clinic in 1986. He stayed in this position until July 2010. During his tenure, a sleep laboratory was set up in the fall of 1988 . In January 1991 the Perinatal Center opened , in September 1991 the Institute for Pedaudiology and Phoniatrics .
Since 1994 he has held the chair for pediatrics at the University of Witten / Herdecke .
He was a founding member and chairman of the Association of Medical Advice Center against Neglect and Abuse of Children eV and Chairman of the Federal Association for Child and Hospital eV
