Vladimir Alexejewitsch Grebennikow ( Russian Владимир Алексеевич Гребенников ; born August 22, 1932 in Pensa , Russian SFSR , † December 19, 1992 ) was a Soviet - Russian ice hockey player who played for many years for Krylya Soviet Moscow in the highest class of Moscow and Spars Russia , the class A , was active. The greatest success of his career, in addition to a championship title with Krylja, was winning the bronze medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics .
Career
Vladimir Grebennikow first played ice hockey in a Moscow factory team. In 1950 he moved to Spartak Moscow , where he was active until 1953. He spent the 1953/54 season at DK K. Marxa Elektrostal before being delegated to the then top club Krylja Sowetow Moscow together with his strike partner on the left wing, Viktor Prjaschnikow . In the following ten years Grebennikow played exclusively for Krylja and was with this club once Soviet champion (1957) and twice runner-up (1956 and 1958). He also excelled in the 1955/56 season with 46 goals as the top scorer in the Klass A from. In total, he scored 254 goals in 302 games in the Class A.
In the 1965/66 season he let his career at Spartak Ryazan end. He then worked as a trainer at Spartak Moscow between 1966 and 1969, before working at the Promswjas Moscow plant from 1970 .
International
On January 9, 1955, he was in a game against Sweden for the first time for the Soviet national team on the ice. and won the silver medal at the World Cup with this in 1957 . His international career was crowned with a bronze medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics . For the national team, he scored 17 goals in 22 international matches. On February 28, 1960, he played his last international match.
