Relationship to right-wing extremism

The documentation archive of the Austrian resistance (DÖW) located Caspart politically in the right-wing extremist milieu of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) around Andreas Mölzer . Caspart supported Mölzer's election campaign for the EU Parliament in 2004 and published regularly in the right-wing extremist magazine Aula . Caspart also stood up for the German CDU Bundestag member Martin Hohmann after he had made several anti-Semitic statements in a speech, for which he was later expelled from his parliamentary group. In his defense, Caspart spoke of the fact that it was not Hohmann who was damaging the dialogue between Jews and non-Jews, "but the relentless haters (and thus those who did business) across all generations". He also commented on immigration to the EU: “We cannot help the fact that the colored people have thrown out the whites and are now no longer able to cope.” Europe is at risk, according to Caspart, following its “intelligence in the 'brain train' [sic!] "losing" overseas and for that to replace the ejection to get the world.
