Uvula core

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gäpfel Kern is a children's book character by the German author Otto Julius Bierbaum and the German counterpart to Carlo Collodi's Pinocchio . The first edition appeared in 1905. Bierbaum recounts Pinocchio's adventures in detail. The same figures appear, but they have German names such as Meister Pflaume, Meister Zorntiegel, Frau Dschemma or Director Fearful. The illustrations are by Arpad Schmidhammer .

Unlike the Russian Burattino Alexei Tolstois (dolls, books, films, games), the figure has largely been forgotten today or is in the shadow of the original.
