Zdeněk Juračka (born May 19, 1947 in Prague ; † July 3, 2017 there ) was a Czech guitarist.

Juračka studied violin with Bedřich Voldan at the Prague Conservatory , where he met musicians such as the violinist Jan Hrubý , the pianist Milos Nop , the singer Petra Černocká and the singer and instrumentalist Jiří Helekal . But his real interest was in the guitar. He was one of the few Czech rock musicians who could play from notes.

In the 1960s he was initially a member of the group Donald (with singer Pavel Černocký , guitarist Zdeněk Jirásek , bass player Vladimír "Guma" Kulhánek and percussionist Jiří Jirásek ), which played the title of the Rolling Stones . With the Rebels (guitarist and singer Jiří Korn , organist Miroslav Helcl , Bassit Svatopluk Bohem and percussionist Anatoli Kohout ) he then played the blues-rock titles of the group Cream . The group disbanded in 1970 after Korn's departure. Until 1972 Juračka was a member of the Flamengo group .

At the Semafor he played in Ferdinand Havlík's orchestra . After the death of guitarist Jiří Lahoda , he was his successor in Eva Pilarová's group . In 1979 he became guitarist in Michal Prokop's group Framus , and from 1980 he was a member of Jan Kratochvíl's group Heval . After leaving in 1985, he succeeded Jan Martínek in the Žlutý pes group . With the reactivated Rebels , Juračka recorded several successful albums after 1990.
