Zenon Licznerski
Zenon Licznerski (born November 27, 1954 in Elbląg ) is a former Polish sprinter .
In 1975 he won the bronze medal in the 60-meter run at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Katowice . With the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay , he finished fourth at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. In the 100-meter run , he was eliminated in the quarter-finals. At the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978 , he won the title in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with Zenon Nowosz , Leszek Dunecki and Marian Voronin . In addition, Licznerski took sixth place in the 200-meter run .
The next success in the season he achieved at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Together with Krzysztof Zwoliński , Leszek Dunecki and Marian Voronin he won the silver medal. In the 200-meter run, however, Licznerski failed in the quarter-finals.
He also finished fifth with the relay at the European Athletics Championships in 1982 in Athens and sixth at the 1983 World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.
Zenon Licznerski is 1.82 m tall and had a competition weight of 74 kg. He started among others for the athletics departments of Górnik Zabrze and Legia Warsaw .
