Elene Gedevanishvili (ელენე გედევანიშვილი) (born January 7 1990 in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Georgian figure skater.

Career
Gedevanishvili used to train in CSKA Moscow in Moscow with Elena Buianova and Tatiana Tarasova. She is the first Georgian to medal at a Junior Grand Prix Event in figure skating.

At the European Figure Skating Championships 2006, her senior level debut, she placed 5th. Gedevanishvili placed sixth after the short program at the 2006 Winter Olympics, her second senior competition, and finished tenth overall.

In November 2006, Gedevanishvili was forced to leave Moscow when her mother's visa was revoked and find a different training center. Shortly thereafter, she contracted a case of whooping cough that went undiagnosed for several months. Because of these problems, Gedevanishvili withdrew from both of her Grand Prix events. She moved to Wayne, New Jersey to train with coach Galina Zmievskaya, former coach of Olympic gold medalist Oksana Baiul, but left Zmievskaya in April, 2007 due to a personality conflict. She currently trains at the Ice House Arena in Hackensack, New Jersey with coach Roman Serov and works part-time with Viktor Kudriavtsev.

Elene was awarded the Order of Honor by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili for her achievements as an athlete and in recognition of her treatment in Russia. Her younger brother, Dmitri Gedevanishvili, is a competitive alpine skier representing Russia.

She can execute the "double Biellmann spin" with a foot change.
