Bloodshy and Avant are Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg, a music production and songwriting team from Sweden. The duo have worked with a number of high-profile artists, including Ms. Dynamite, Christina Milian, Britney Spears, Madonna, Kelis, Kylie Minogue, Jennifer Lopez, and Jordin Sparks. Britney Spears' 2004 hit single, "Toxic," which they co-wrote and produced, went on to win the Best Dance Recording at the 2005 Grammy awards, and became one of the biggest selling singles of 2004 in the UK.

Career
Bloodshy and Avant scored their first success working with US singer/songwriter Christina Milian for her debut album. The collaboration resulted in two hit singles, "AM To PM," and "When You Look At Me," both of which hit number three on the UK Singles Chart.

They were then commissioned to work with UK hip-hop singer/rapper, Ms. Dynamite, and BRIT Award-winning English pop group Sugababes. The collaboration with Ms. Dynamite resulted in several tracks which appeared on her debut album, A Little Deeper, including her hit debut single, "It Takes More." They also produced tracks for her 2005 second release, Judgement Days.

Bloodshy and Avant co-wrote two songs with Cathy Dennis, which appeared on Funky Dory, the debut solo album of former S Club 7 star, Rachel Stevens. "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex," the first single from "Funky Dory," is Stevens' most successful single to date, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Bloodshy and Avant co-wrote and produced Britney Spears' hit single, "Toxic," which appeared on her album, In The Zone. They also produced a track called "Chaotic," which was later used as the theme music to her reality TV show, Britney and Kevin: Chaotic. Following the success of "Toxic," Spears recruited the duo to produce tracks for her 2004 greatest hits project, including her cover of the Bobby Brown track, "My Prerogative," and a track called "Do Somethin'," which were both top 10 hits in the UK. They subsequently worked with Spears on her fifth studio album, Blackout, for which they collaborated with Spears on four songs, including, "Radar," "Freakshow," "Toy Soldier," and the hit single, "Piece of Me."

The duo co-wrote and co-produced two tracks with Madonna for her 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor, entitled "How High," and "Like It Or Not." The album was a huge international success, and sold over nine million units worldwide. They also remixed Utada Hikaru's European debut single, "You Make Me Want to Be a Man," and co-wrote the tongue-in-cheek song, "Buddha's Delight," for the movie, Music and Lyrics, starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore.

In 2007, Bloodshy & Avant co-wrote and produced "Nu-di-ty" and "Speakerphone" for Kylie Minogue's highly anticipated 10th studio album entitled "X."

They have also written and produced three songs for American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, entitled "Young And In Love," "See My Side," and "Shy Boy."
