Philippine Air Force project "Layang"
I removed the "SF.260WP Warrior - Layang" from the list of variants. The user who added that may have been a bit confused as the upgrade project initially dealt with conversion of remaining SF.260MP/WP to SF.260TP, but later involved conversion of SF.260TP to attack aircraft by fitting hard points and gun sights. I'm not sure how or if this should be added to the list of variants though, so I leave that to those of you with more information on the SF-260. --Edward Sandstig (talk) 17:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
There is a mention of the two Chester Cheetah Video games, but no link. The two games are Chester Cheetah: Too Cool to Fool and Chester Cheetah: Wild Wild Quest for the Genesis. They are both stubs, however, and I don't know if it's worth adding them. Should there be an atempt to add them to the article? Dolace Triade 13:15, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

"Get some cheetos"
The "Get some cheetos" edit by 140.247.175.126 (talk) seems to be a paraphrase of . The citation for the entry says, "by Mrob harvard Jan 29, 2006". That entry and a duplicate appear to be the only thing "Mrob" added to the Urban Dictionary. == Side effects ==
I know Cheetos isn't medicine, but does it have unhealthy side effects? I ate half a bag of flamin's hot cheetos one day, and I sleep walked into my parents room and got acid reflux (or something like that) when I layed back down. Can someone tell me if eating too much of this stuff is dangerous, or if it was just an ingredient in the stuff?

Origins?
I heard that original cheetos recipe was intended as a dog treat but instead made a tasty snack for people when they added cheese. I don't have anything to back this up. 12.226.72.188

I'm curious to know if Cheetos or Cheezies came first. The Cheezies web site only says "late 40s" but I have found some sources that say 1948 -- which is the same year as Cheetos. Unfortunately there is no wiki page for Cheezies. -- abfackeln 23:16, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I have personal knowledge that an extruded corn snack was manufactured in Arcanum, Ohio prior to the summer of 1948 (when I moved from there) and probably as early as 1947 in a building next door to my home at 201 W. North Street. The man making the extruded corn snack referred to them as "corn curls" and he packed them in cubical cardboard boxes about 18 inches on a side, then shipped them by rail to an undisclosed location in Indiana, where cheese flavoring was added. I often helped load these boxes into the boxcar on a siding of the Dayton & Union Railroad. This man considered his extruder to be a trade secret, and on one occasion, apprehended a man trying to enter his business at night to do some industrial espionage. He must have thought it was OK to allow a neighbor child to see (and assist) running this sensitive equipment. I recall that if the rotating extrusion die was not hot enough, or if the cornmeal ingedients were too moist, that a hollow cylinder would exit the die rather than the familiar Cheeto-shaped bits. When the machine was running properly, the curls literally flew out of the die into the air, and were caught in a net enclosure. Rather than throw this cylindrical solid away as scrap, it was ground up and recycled by mixing it back into the input ingredients. This actually improved the texture. The curls fresh out of the extruder were just bland, corn-tasting stuff, and a little chewy. It was the secondary operation in Indiana that gave it the cheesey, salty flavor and crunchy texture -- probably with a secondary baking step. Much later in life, I saw a TV program about Cheetos and they made a big deal about the fact that the actual manufacturing process was considered secret and showing it was denied. The factory was in Indiana. 66.57.196.73 (talk) 02:14, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Types of Cheetos
Do "Flamin' Hot Cheetos con Lucas" and "Hot Dog Flavored Cheetos" really exist? I would love to try the hot dog variety but I can't find them referenced anywhere else.

Mascots
Omission of the Cheetos Mouse seems a glaring oversight.

Neverwinter Nights Game Reference Verification
I am not a player of the game so can't personally verify this, but given that the game producer is based in Canada it seems likely that the game would refer to Cheezies http://www.cheezies.com/ and not Cheetos. While Cheetos are available in Canada their place in popular culture is generally taken by Cheezies. Could someone familiar with the game provide a reference to clarify this?

Size of the actual puffs
Havent they blown up over the years? Back in the early 90's when cheetos puffs were packaged in a blue and white bag, they were much thinner puffs and softer in crunch as compared to wise cheez doodles. Now the puffs are actually bigger than wise cheez doodles and much crispier. I was a cheetos puff fanatic back then, and even though I still love them, I dont like these changes. Does anyone know why they changed? PeAchBaCon 08:15, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Banned in UK?
According to a UK-based company that imports US snacks for sale in the UK, Cheetos cannot be imported to the country because of "Food Standards Agency issues".
