I agree with the comments below. I went to Canton High and I was in the band and I remember the band teachers talking about how they recruited students from other districts. I used to go to Canton high school and this page actually is one big advertisement. A high school marching band, which has an unfair advantage over other high school bands because it uses three high schools in it, is essentially recruiting by exaggerating the "praise" that the P-CEP marching band has received over the years. I also think that this page should be nominated for deletion because wikipedia strictly forbids advertisement pages, which the P-CEP marching band page is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.150.177 (talk) 06:08, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Ali Nasseredine (born on January 24, 1983) is a Lebanese footballer who currently plays for Nejmeh SC in the Lebanese Premier League. He is also a member of the Lebanese national team.

I agree with the comment below. I went to Plymouth HS and they didn't even play at football games. Because of this, and because this band's wikipedia page makes them appear to be a bigger deal than they actually are, this page should be nominated for deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.147.52 (talk) 05:52, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

This page is basically a big advertisement for the P-CEP marching band and should be nominated for deletion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.150.148 (talk) 06:05, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Ali Nasseredine began playing for Nejmeh at 14 years of age, he was signed in 1997 and now is a well honoured legend at the club. He has accomplished a lot since his career began, including being the leading goal scorer of the Lebanese Premier League on 17 goals in the 2005/2006 season. At this stage he has not been linked with any European based clubs due his current status in the Lebanese Premier League.

Nasseredine has progressed rapidly since he began playing for the Lebanese national team and scores on nearly every appearance. He has scored in many tournaments, including World Cup qualifiers, what would arguably be the most important goal came in a game against Korea Republic which ended in a 1-1 draw. Lebanon needed to at least win if they were a chance to progress to the next round of qualifiers but it proved unfortunate. Korea scored on the 8th minute and Ali Nasseredine equalised in the 27th minute in which the entire country of Lebanon was supporting the squad.

A few of the descriptions of the shows are written as though they came directly from a band parent's mouth. Remember, this is an encyclopedia! Plesae fix the descriptions so that they are neutral.
fr:Ali Nassereddine

Actually, many of them are directly from the PCMB webpage.

I don't know how to put a copyvio for only a specific section.

I deleted the descriptions of the shows. No real way to make them *neutral*. Any objection to template removal? -John 22:04, 5 December 2005 (UTC)Nawsum526

For goodness' sake... of COURSE you can make them neutral, there's no need to just go deleting them all. I've added a disclaimer that some of the descriptions are taken from the website, fixed it up, and removed the NPOV. Forteblast 08:26, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

I updated the number of State Championship from 20 to 21. -User:Toxic320 8:10, 15 May 2008

This page has already been up for deletion. You're blatant attempts to undermine it because of your prejudice are also against Wikipedia policy. I know that you are NOT a member of the band, because you CANNOT recruit people from other districts, that is against Band and district policies. In addition, the page is NOT one big advertisement for a few reasons: It is a sourced page documenting the bands achievements and accomplishments, many of which have paved the way for bands around the country. It passes the notability rules with it's sources, and has been a LEADER in music education for years. It's alumni are around the country using their experiences to enhance children's educational experience, and may have helped someone YOU know.

Also, how can you argue it's helping to recruit??? That is so outrageous I'm in disbelief. Who looks on Wikipedia to decide what district to go to school in? Maybe we should delete the Detroit Piston's page because it documents their achievements and unfairly brings players to Detroit! Besides, I have never, in my time in the marching band world (I am an active instructor and music student) heard of a person moving to Plymouth just to be in band.

Unfortunately, you cannot enjoy the achievements of a group of hardworking kids, and instead are looking to advance your own agenda. Refusetobesilenced (talk) 04:18, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

I apologize for having an opinion. It was my mistake to think that it was acceptable to believe something different than someone else and voicing that belief. I am fully aware of the fact that it is against district rules to recruit kids from other districts, but just because something is against the rules doesn't mean it never happens; I vividly remember Marc Whitlock taking about how the band was able to convince students from other districts to come to P-CEP just for the marching band. Also, don't use all capital letters in your writing; you already sound pretentious enough as it is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.194.147.135 (talk) 01:46, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
