Heritage High School is a four-year public high school that was founded in 1977 in Maryville, Blount County, Tennessee.
The '''review department''' of the Chicago WikiProject is the project's main forum for conducting detailed reviews—both formal and informal—of particular articles and other content within its scope.


There are approximately 1700 students enrolled. The 2006-2007 senior class consisted of 290 students. The staff-to-student ratio is approximately 1:15. The current school principal is Patricia Mandigo.
The department hosts two forms of review internal to the project:

It also provides a convenient collection of Chicago content currently undergoing featured content reviews outside the project:
Students begin their schedules at 8:30 a.m. when school officially begins with a tardy bell. Heritage uses [[block scheduling]] and has four 90-minute classes. An Early Bird class option is offered to seniors who wish to graduate early or need extra credit to graduate on time. Early Bird classes begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 a.m. There is also a freshman academy for the many incoming students. Heritage is a somewhat large campus containing two large buildings. One building is used primarliy for academics, and the other is used for technical classes. There is also a Planetarium (where one can look at stars) which is open to the public several days a month. The high school has several athletic teams, although they are most notable for women's basketball. Current University of Tennessee Lady Vol Cait McMahan is a Heritage High School alum. The Heritage High School Marching Band is accredited with having Superior Ratings (the highest rating a band can get) at every competition or event they go to. The band directors are John Gallagher, Mr. McCurdy, and Mr. Juday. The 2008-2009 Band Captain is Ali Priano, Lieutenants: Arron Hagstrom, Clay Tipton.
