The País Llïonés (Leonese for Leonese Country), according to some secessionist parties which call for its independence from Castile and León (Spain), like the Leonese People's Union, would encompass roughly the territory of the proposed Comunidad Autónoma de León (current Spanish provinces of León, Salamanca and Zamora in the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León).
