In 1978 Giorgos Gounaropoulo's son donated 40 of his father paintings to Municipality of [[Zografou]]. One year later Gounaropoulos Museum was founded. The museum's building is Gounaropoulo's house where he lived, worked and died. In 1990 the museum was expanded. A new building was established next to the first which is used as an Art and Culture center. |
