The Siemens-Schuckertwerke were founded in 1903 when the [[Siemens & Halske AG]] merged its activities in power engineering, automotive engineering and electrical machinery with [[Schuckert & Co.]] in [[Nuremberg]]. The majotity capital share was hold by the [[Siemens & Halske AG]].

In [[1966]], the Siemens firms were incorporated as [[Siemens AG]].
