Comment If Roy isn't going to do the very basic courtesy of notifying the creator that his article is being deleted (which he hasn't), then he should have his deleting privileges revoked. It is easy to miss things on the watchlist, and new users are often not even very aware of the watchlist. This happened to me on an article I created. It's hard to miss the "you have new messages!". Also, I'm not sure if this is the case here, but on Wikiquote I get emails when someone posts a message on my talk page -- this should be the default if it is not on here.
