He married Eva Hudec on 13th June 1942, emigrated with his family to Canada in 1950 and set up a small engineering firm. He became a Canadian citizen in 1956. He died on January 12th, 1990 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Antonín "Tonda" Hönig was a Czech cyclist. He was born on August 21st, 1906 in Rokycany, Czechoslovakia. He won a number of national road racing events in the period 1925-29 as a member of the SK Slavia Prague club, which was better known later on as a football club. Honig competed in the individual and team road race events at the 1928 Summer Olympics.[2]

He married Eva Hudec on 13th June 1942, emigrated with his family to Canada in 1950 and set up a small engineering firm. He became a Canadian citizen in 1956. He died on January 12th, 1990 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
