Lance Miller was a character on the telenovela (soap opera), Fashion House. He was played by Mike Begovich.

His corruption led to his downfall

Lance Miller was a Certified Public Accountant, who, was partnered with a man named Rodney Griffiths (James Black). For eight years, he was married to his high school sweetheart, Michelle Randall Miller, until someone sent some photos of him and his former assistant, Gloria Thompson.

It forced Michelle to leave him and move in with her best friend, Nikki Clark, a model for fashion firm, House of Gianni. This didn't deter Lance, who was still in love with Michelle and aimed to have her back at any cost.

However, he was considered to be somewhat devious and ruthless in his doings, since he did forge Michelle's name on a prenuptual agreement to insure that he got what he wanted. He didn't like Luke Gianni, whom Michelle started seeing after she left him.

To break up the relationship, Lance teamed up with Luke's evil mother, Maria Gianni, to sabotage things between Luke and Michelle. They were business partners, as Lance has been using House of Gianni as an avenue to funnel money from his employer, the crooked mobster, Eddie Zarouvian.

Also, he and Maria teamed up to sabotage his ex-wife's new business, Michelle Miller Designs, to insure that she came crawling back to him, however, he realized that Maria was only using him as a means to do in Michelle, (as she used anyone to get her way) and didn't really care if they ever get back together.

Rodney had dissolved their partnership, over the connections with Eddie; and even Gloria had given up on wanting Lance. She moved on, and her time was devoted to being busy taking care of her son, Alec, who was shot in a botched attempt on Michelle. She eventually fell in love with Dr. Evans, the surgeon assigned to Alec's case.

Lance tried to wheedle his way back into Michelle's good graces, but failed miserably when she discovered that it was he, egged on by Maria, who faxed her designs to the press, and the press criticized her harshly.

Understandably furious, she threw a drink in his face, discovered that he hadn't changed at all, that he was still no-good; and left him in the dust. If he had even an iota of a chance of reconciling with Michelle, he had blown it by being allied with Maria.

Lance also agreed to be wired to help the District Attorney take down Eddie and his criminal enterprise. This failed, and Eddie stated that he was a dead man. This was successful when Eddie and his thugs beat Lance beyond recognition and then he was hit by a car. He died soon after. Then Eddie decided he would go after Michelle, the late Lance's ex-wife; by kidnapping her. That also failed, and Eddie was arrested.

He may have seemed like the All-American boy, but Lance Miller was greedy and selfish, and that cost him everything, including his life.
