Welcome

Welcome to Wikipedia

Hello, 70.241.216.253, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Someone using this IP address vandalized the Aztec religion article. I have reverted the vandalism. If you did this, please do not do it again. If you did not do this, you may wish to consider getting a username.

Wikipedia is one of the world's fastest growing internet sites. We aim to build the biggest and most comprehensive encyclopaedia in the world. To date we have over four million articles in a host of languages. The English language Wikipedia alone has over one million articles! But we still need editors to add more and improve the quality of the existing articles.

Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. Please consider getting a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. Without a username, your IP address is used to identify you.

If you need help see:

Here are a few more good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using three tildes (~~~), or four (~~~~) if you want a timestamp; this will automatically produce your name and the timestamp if requested. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Again, welcome!
