WLN, as it is commonly called, is equipped with the latest technology in the auditorium, classrooms, and kitchens. This school is very open, and includes a 'common' area located right when you walk in the main entrance. The common area serves as a cafeteria, homework and study place, and as a hangout area before/after school. Northern's beautiful library, gives the students access to a large collection of texts and study materials. The Career center, located next to the library, gives college bound students the right tools to find a university that fits their needs. In the academic wing, classrooms are separated into halls by colors and letters referred to as 'pods'. Gold (A), purple (B), and green (C), make up the academic wing. Each serves as a different subject hall, with science labs at the ends. This school has two floors. The Men's Swim Team celebrated last year with one of its swimmers, Roman Sandler, winning the State Championship title in the 100yd Breaststroke.
