Annika Sorenstam

Thank you for your excellent cleanup work on Annika Sorenstam. Do you know about Wikipedia:Wikiproject Golf? I just found out about this. It looks like they could use some more people who are working on LPGA and LET articles and some more people who are from outside the U.S. You might be interested in it. Seon Hwa Leee - stub class?

I'm curious why you graded the Seon Hwa Lee article as Stub Class. I admit I was negligent in removing the stub tag when expanding the article, but the article is fairly complete. I think it warranted a higher rating in both the quality and importance scale. Crunch 11:16, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Golfer Infobox

Great job adding them. Do you think it would be wise to change all golfers with the current infobox to the one we're putting up? Or would that be to controversial? Perhaps we should reach a consensus on some talk page? Let me know what you think, because frankly, the official golfer infobox is bad. Supertigerman 19:59, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Blomqvist_Minea.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Blomqvist_Minea.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. howcheng {chat} 18:06, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Berg Patty.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Berg Patty.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

Annika Sörenstam reviewed

hi hi Mudforce. upon a light read of Annika Sörenstam, goooood job of references. i love refs, love em! though, i should say the second paragraph of the article - all those sentences need refs. :) there are a whole bunch of numbers, dates, money amounts and rankings in this article; i'm not sure what the manual of style (WP:MOS) for all of those, but the sheer amount of them stings my brain a bit. please standardize if they aren't already to reduce the swelling. the Professional Career section needs a separate article and a summary section in Annika's. saying 'she won this, she won that, got this, got that' over and over again gets a little tired. i also noticed from this approx one kajillion abbreviations for tournaments and awards. it is second nature to skim around a wikipedia article, and with all those abbreviations you don't know where the heck you are or if you missed a previous sentence explaining it. that end of the article template above the categories could be prettier. finally, for ultimate-ease-of-eyes, read, dive, consume this guide: it will help soooo much and holy crap does it help an articles feel. hope i've helped! :) JoeSmack Talk 20:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Annika Sorenstam at the Colonial merged

I've completed the merge -- actually only about one sentence and a reference. All else was there. Also, let me know if you'd like help cleaning up the Annika Sorenstam article in accordance with the suggestions above. It's kind of your baby, but I can do some work on it if you want another set of hands. --Crunch 01:23, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
