Melanoxanthus Eschscholtz, 1829
M. anticus Candeze, 1859: This species seems to have wide distribution. Two specimens were collected by Amol Patwardhan at places approximately 600 km apart. One at Tadoba, District Chandrapur and other at Phansad, District Raigad.
