RC Patrol

Hello. Thankyou for taking part in RC Patrol, in which we remove vandalism from this website. You warned a vandal after he vandalised an article with the 1st warning message. Because he went so fast, I also sent him a 1st warning template at the same time. Vandals

Also, if they've settled down some, I usually avoid poking them with a sharp stick by reverting the IP user page. There's not much point to it - they've read it, and they just start vandalizing some more. In this case, his http: link isn't working, or we'd see something nasty. So now you know what keeps me up at night..... It's amusing that we fight over things like spelling when so much suffering exists in the world. Yes, I am a sockpuppet, I have a user account and am a long-time user of the wiki. I do lots of small grammatical fixes (isolated punctuation corrections, etc.) Was just having a bad night. Somebody else was fooling with Orange (colour) a while ago. I gave them this message and they stopped:

"To avoid spelling revert wars, Wikipedia policy is to leave British or American spelling usage as they are in an article if they are consistently used, or if the article involves a nationality where that spelling or usage is appropriate. Please do not change spellings."

I would note that if the article title says "colour", the rest of the article ought to follow suit, so your instinct was correct. Acroterion _(talk) 03:32, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

While you may find the blanking of pages such as beer amusing, it is considered inappropriate by the Wikipedia community. Please try to work towards improving the encyclopædia, rather than merely detracting from the work of others. Dust Filter 01:36, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Errors

When you point out a mistake, there is no obvious way of saying "sorry, should have done x," or "can I discuss this with someone b4 deletion?" With your recent comment to me, it would have been the former. --Konalgia911 21:25, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
