Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. Magazine covers

Hey, there! I notice you've recently uploaded several images which appear to be magazine covers, including Image:0605 cover Tautou.jpg, Image:0606 cover Hard Candy.jpg, Image:Emily cover.jpg, and Image:8.02 David Wenham.jpg, among a few others. Please note that unless you are the sole creator and owner of these images, you do not have the ability to release them into the public domain, as claimed in the license tagging you've supplied for the images. Far more likely, these images would qualify as fair use, as they appear to be copyrighted material incompatible with Wikipedia's copyleft licensing policies. If you can, please provide a more appropriate licensing template (such as {{Non-free magazine cover}}) and a full fair use rationale for each use of each image. Yes, this is a bit of a hurdle, but as we consider it very important that Wikipedia emphasizes the use of free content anyone can use for any purpose, non-free images are a bit controversial.
