Self-picture

I sometimes visit this site. I wrote some articles.[1] Most of my editing has been to correct formatting mistakes not compensated for by IE 5. After I got my used computer, I decided to refresh my touch-typing. Looking for material to use with a typing program, I googled “encyclopedia” and discovered this site. From this site I first heard of markup language. I found it interesting enough to try some editing rather than just be shocked that I was allowed to. The introduction encouraged me to look for something to edit; the tutorial told me to practice in the sandbox. Another article said my user page could be my own private sandbox. Although writing term papers is hard work and requires using a good library or even buying books, trying out the editing tags is not. I suppose this site is begging for top experts to share their knowledge for the good of mankind. It gets the rest of us interested in how to edit as well. I don’t have time to spend a lot of time at this, but I’m very poor and appreciate a free encyclopedia. A used computer and internet access are too expensive for the internet to be a mail-order catalogue.
