Guano is a character on the Nicktoons Network series Kappa Mikey.

Profile

Guano is the director, the only writer, actor, and probably creator on LilyMu, but his only line on the show is his own name. He takes this job seriously, and often sees Ozu as an intimidating, scary boss- the only character on the show he answers to. His name comes from the Spanish word for "Bat Manure" (possibly a reference to his smell, which is commented upon poorly throughout the series). Unlike his fellow castmates, he isn't very fond of the celebrity life style and he would rather have people not even know he exists then have numerous fans admire him.

Much of Guano's life isn't known, even to the point that no one on the show even knows how he looks like under his costume, or even if he wears one at all. All that is known is that he has an apartment in LilyMu Towers along with his castmates, but it is unknown on which floor it is on. He also has a large box collection and loves directing the show, and before LilyMu he went to film school, and used to work in various odd jobs, including shampoo commercials, mining underground, and even in a kickline, all of which he regrets ever doing. Aside from this not much else is known about him making Guano one of the biggest enigmas in the series. It was revealed in A Christmas Mikey that Guano is Ozu's son, though, it may not be canonical to the show. It should be noted though that in a separate episode where in Ozu offered to spend Mikey's birthday with him, Guano displayed definite signs of jealously over the situation. Whether this indicates there is some relation between the two or is merely part of his overall need for affection is left open. However, later in the episode, when asked by Mikey if he had grandchildren, Ozu replied in the negative, citing a past mistake as being the reason.

In the episode The Masked Tanuki Guano is revealed have a super hero alter ego known as the Masked Tanuki who bravely saves the city from danger every day, and in the same episode his apartment is shown for the first time which houses his super hero lair and a small dungeon.

In every episode he seems to stop the LilyMu show by yelling "CUT!" when something goes wrong, such as Mikey messing up or heavy objects falling on Gonard, or both (occasionally, it is Ozu who yells cut at the beginning of an episode, or another character, such as Socky).

Occasionally, Guano can be seen wearing a diaper. No one knows why, but in the episode "Uh Oh, Guano", he comments on it by saying "It's a comfort thing."

Personality

Guano is extremely emotional, frequently crying or cheering and jumping around and he also suffers from a large number of phobias and fears the simplest and most non-scary of things. He is a purple, Pikachu-like creature, or just a guy in a costume. Because he takes on so many positions in his job, he must also be a strict leader, and sometimes parent and carries it out as best he can amidst his own personal problems.

• In LilyMu, all Guano says is "Guano", his name, which is an obvious reference to Pokemon.
