When still a child, his older brother took him to Dadashri and on March 6, 1971 Deepakibhai received the knowledge of the Self-Atmagnan from Dadashri. For someone who was already exhibiting somewhat ascetic tendencies, Deepakbhai now gained a tremendous impetus to self-learn and attain the true goal of liberation. |

After launching his own business as a Consulting Engineer, he decided to join a spiritual path, the idea which his father severely opposed to.
