Robin van Persie

Hey, just a quick message to say that I'm itching to improve an Arsenal player's article. I know you're still going with the Tel FAC (I'm letting you deal with the suggested improvements as they come, as I don't want to interfere), but what do you say we improve Robin van Persie to GA? At a (very quick) glance, it seems there's a lot which can be improved:

• The lead section needs rewriting
• The Personal Life section needs to be split up to form an Early Life and Outside Football section (the latter particularly notable due to his court case)
• The Early Career section needs expanding and citing
• The whole Arsenal Career section needs citing in much more detail

That list makes the article sound worse than it actually is; it's actually very detailed, has very good pictures, and seems reasonably well written. However, there's probably loads of information about him on the web (he's always giving interviews etc.), so there should be massive room for improvement.

Mate - just going through everything which needs doing to the article, and since I've been on Wikibreak for a while, I have a question about what is the "done thing":

Do "International career" sections in player articles always have their own section? In the T. Henry article it has its own section, but in the G. Silva article it doesn't. Need your help

i saw that you made a recent edit to the Dallas Mavericks game log for 2007-08, a very minor one on the 18th if you look at the history of the page. yet the results for games played on the 20th and 21st have been put up but this doesn't appear on the history of the page. How is this so? Did the page automatically appear or can you edit a page and have it deleted from the history section. I dont quite get it. Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 09:39, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Ah yes, thanks for that and the quick reply. Just one more thing, how can you get to that template page without having to do an edit and therefore it comes up. I just want to say thanks for replying. i think the easiest way to go directly to the log and see the history of it and other templates is just to click edit in regard to that section and then delete the following in the url: &action=edit&section=3. that will then take you directly to the template. im surprised though that there isn't say a link on the 07-08 page that when you click on game log it take you directly to the template. anyway, thanks again Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 02:48, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Need your help again

Thanks for the above, that really cheered me up! But i was wondering whether you would be able to add highlighting a team on the NBA standings template that have been set up for each division. I sent a message to Soxrock because he appears under the [1] so i assume he is very important. He did this for the Template:2007-08 NBA Central Division Standings and i tried to copy the format to the others but i just can't get it done.
