Teresa Folchart is a fictional character in the Inkheart trilogy. She is Meggie Folchart's mother, and the wife of Mo. She plunged into the pages of Inkheart 11 years before the story began. She was read out of Inkheart by Capricorn's clumsy reader, Darius(who also goes my the name of stumble-tongue) and, as a result of Darius' stuttering, loses her voice. However, Her voice returned when she was read back into Inkheart by Orpius (Whom Farid calls Cheeseface) along with Mortimer, Basta and Mortola(Or the Magpie).
