Masaaki Akaike (赤池 誠章, born July 19, 1961) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kofu, Yamanashi and graduate of Meiji University, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2005 after three unsuccessful runs in 1993, 1995 and 2000. An assenter of "The Truth about Nanjing(movie)."
