Corylus yunnanensis is a species of Hazelnut found in western China. It is a small tree or shrub. The flowers have triglar shaped petals. The nuts which are incase in a very tough shell are edible for Humans. The plant are not comercially grown for the nuts. Sometimes they are use as ornamental plants. They range in Western Guizhou, Hubei, South Western and Western Sichuan, Western Yunnan.
