Mistake concerning population

"at the turn of the century (circa 1900) there were 22,636 Jews in a total population of 281,378"

281,378 could not be population of Zhytomyr about 1900 year. This is its population about 2000 year! --D.M. from Ukraine (talk) 19:58, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
