Nacaome is the capital city of the Valle department of Honduras. It is a manufacturing and commercial center, located on the Nacaome River.
Nacaome is an old city, since aborigen Cholulas and Chaparrastiques, tired of figthing each other, reflexioned and joined together to built new houses, in the middle of their territory on the west side of the Chapulapa River (aborigen name of Nacaome River), named the new town [1], meaning union of two races, in their dialects. This foundation happen before the Spanish conquers came in 1480*.
