:Unfortunately, the 1953 JAMA article was embarrassingly unscientific; and there have been more than 100 articles published in German and Russian journals since 1990 that provide clinical trial reports of the use of UBI in several dozen indications. Citations to many of these articles can be found in my three books wholly or largely on UBI. So the article as currently written is inaccurate and misleading.
